The reconstruction proposal is about an existing 570 sq.m. hotel at the centre of Vouliagmeni city, Attica Greece. The 1962 building needs immediate restoration in order to be reintegrated into the demanding hotel market. Its excellent location by the sea gives the incentive for bold interventions. The synthetic idea ris about the ecological and bioclimatic approach of an “eco-hotel” theme on design. The facade of the building will incorporate a vertical planting system in order to become a landmark. The white and the wood color are the dominant elements in the facade of the new design, allowing the sunlight to penetrate into the interior.
For the above project, the architectural design for reconstruction was made.
